Our story begins in October 2023, when our mutual friend set us up at her wedding (shout out Makenzie and her match matchmaking skills). Little did we know that we'd become each other's life-long wedding dates and soon be planning a wedding of our own.

Since Makenzie and Nick's wedding, we’ve been inseparable. We became “official” less than two months later after a romantic date night at Different Pointe of View (pictured above).

By June 2024, we were jetting off to Europe together to join Makenzie and Nick on their honeymoon cruise. Not even a week after landing back in the states, we were packing our bags again. But this time, it was to move in together. We make a pretty good pair of life-long roommates if we do say so ourselves.

We’d come to learn that Austin’s the cleaner one, we have too many “same brain” moments to count, and we both share an affinity for hikes, yoga, travel, cooking (or at least attempting to) and trying new restaurants (when the cooking thing doesn’t go as planned).

Then in May 2025, Austin invited both our families to Sedona to secretly watch and film as he got down on one knee. Our entire relationship felt like fate, but seeing our families hit it off like they had known each other for years, even further solidified that this was meant to be.

6 months later we took yet another big step, we bought a house together! It's been an exciting journey officially putting down roots in Scottsdale, and we're excited to begin the remodel process to truly make it our own.

We can’t wait to be back in Sedona to say “I do” with our dearest family and friends. We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to each and every one of you for being a part of our love story. Cheers to the Johnson’s!
